Yusra

President & General Director

Yusra is a civil society activist and feminist worked for several years in women empowerment and child protection programs with several international organizations in Lebanon and Luxemburg, the longest period working with INTERSOS.
Yusra is a strong fighter for women and refugee rights and after she won her own battle she started to have a leading role and advocating for the rights of the marginalized people overall the world.
Yusra believes on the ability to save lives and improve the future through empowerment and support.
Yusra is a real leader who managed several projects.
She is currently the president of DOURI Association.

Fadi

Fadi

Treasurer & Psycho-Social Support Activities Coordinator

Fadi Jaafar is a Lebanese artist and a humanitarian work enthusiastic, who has been practicing plastic art as a painter for more than 20 years.
He worked with the Italian organisation INTERSOS and volunteered with UNHCR Lebanon as well as the Red Cross Luxembourg.
Since 2019 he cooperated with HARIKO Esch-sur-Alzette in artistic workshops for youth.
He also worked as a screenwriter for TV and radio channels, such as BBC Arabic between 2016 and 2017.
He studied Law in Damascus University and practiced law for 3 years, before he stopped working as a lawyer to be a full time plastic artist and screenwriter.

Lina

Lina is activist in Lebanon.
She worked with various civil society organizations and volunteered in different programs.
Lina is a child protection expert and she has long experience working in the gender-based violence prevention programs.
Currently, she is focusing in building her career in the research field and is enjoying learning more about her country, Syria.
She is a volunteer with Douri trying to use her experience and skills to support our projects.
She believes in equality and human rights and that all the world is connected.

Samah

Samah Abdulhamid a Gestalt therapist, painter and a musician.
obtained a bachelor degree in Fine Arts/ the university of Damascus.
Samah has worked as a social worker and a case worker with Syrian and Syrian Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon, specialized in cases of Gender-based violence.
she won a scholarship to complete her master degree in Gestalt therapy in Mexico.
During the last seven years, Samah has been dedicated to arts as in participating in several collective exhibitions, artistic residencies, training in music and theater, side to side with practicing her career as a therapist.

Secretary

Social Worker since 2008 and active member of Social Gaming Luxembourg.
He is an active guy who likes to participate and organize projects for the people.
Be it on National Level or International Level.
He like Martial Arts, Boardgames and Computer Games.
He is active Change maker on European Level which means He organize Projects with Youth in Erasmus.
Cultures and Art were always on his list of interesting activites.
Now he is leader of the Youthcenter Kayl/Tétange.

Ola

Ola

Media Director

Ola Aljari is a journalist from Syria who currently works as a freelancer.
She has interned as a reporter at the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) in Leipzig, supervised the editorial team at SMART news agency and Hawa SMART radio station, and worked as an editor at Dawdaa newspaper.
She has also trained a team of citizen journalists to produce a multilingual-multicultural radio program for Radio Blau in Leipzig.
Her interests include women’s issues, refugees and refugee women, journalism, freedom, the politics and social issues of Syria, motherhood, and a healthy lifestyle.
She runs a personal blog, Facebook page, Instagram account, and YouTube channel in Arabic.
